Dana’s began his career in 1969 working as an architectural draftsman for Octagon Associates in Visalia, California. concurrent with completing two years of architectural college courses. In 1975 he moved his family to Eureka, CA, where he worked under William Van Fleet, AIA, as an architectural draftsman for one year. There he worked on several housing projects and a courthouse modernization.


In 1976 Dana redirected the course of his career signing on as a carpenter apprentice and quickly becoming a construction superintendent for C.W. Forcum Construction in Visalia. After one year he started his own construction firm teaming up with his architectural mentor from Octagon Associates. Together they specializing in the design and construction of residential and light commercial projects with Dana managing all of the construction operations.


In 1987, Dana created a consulting/training firm, Arcturus Associates, providing computer aided construction management, estimating, scheduling and accounting services for construction/development firms in Central California with clients in Arizona, Idaho and Hawaii. Using these skills, Dana was later employed by a general engineering construction firm supervising all subdivision and commercial construction projects totaling over 100 million per year. He later was employed by a commercial roofing contractor, also providing project management, estimating and accounting services.


In 1995, Dana owned and operated a commercial architectural millwork company, Mineral King Fixtures, located in Visalia. This company specialized in custom designed plastic laminate and wood millwork with projects in all of California and Hawaii. Dana was the designer and operations manager for this business. Clients included San Joaquin Valley College, Alexandria Real Estate-Pasadena, Midas Mufflers, Sir Speedy Printing and Giant Automotive.


From 2010 to the present, Dana has been working as managing partner for Lezana Partners LLC, a partnership with his wife, providing architectural services, construction management, construction consulting services and graphic design. He began working with PACS in July of 2014 providing site inspections with monthly reports, construction analysis reports and property assessment reports.
